Prokarate
Is a organization that uses competition in full-contact fighting to measure which fighter is the better one. Not style driven, not organization driven but driven by the personal aplication of fighting techniques of the fighters. A lot of full-contact karate organizations have their own champions, who are used to fighting in their own organization against their own styles. And there is nothing wrong with that. The fighters who want to see what their style, technique and knowledge will do against other styles can attend the “open” events but all off them are organized by style organizations. So there is always one party in disadvantage. Prokarate offers a neutral fighting habitat with neutral rules. In 5 round matches opponents can decide who is the best. History The first pilot of Prokarate took place on the Open European Championship Kyokushin Karate tournament of 2014 in The Hague, the Netherlands. It was a match on full contact rules. Where the two fighters had 4 rounds to see who was the best. The formula was a succes and the OECKK tournament was the first habitat for Prokarate fights. From 2016 on there where Prokarate title fights on every edition. In 2017 the organization expanded to Mma and Kickboxing events. Next In the near future Prokarate wants to organize their first stand alone event where it is all about full-contact Karate and it’s fighters. |
